A view of Jerusalem in the present, a simulation of the various periods of the city on top of the existing topography and visitor center - this is what the new tourist complex, to be built in the capital, will look like on the site where the royal stone titles from the First Temple period were recently discovered.

A new tourist center is currently being built at the Commissioner's Palace in Jerusalem.

The new center is expected to change the city's tourism map very soon.

The project, which has been launched in recent months, is the result of a collaboration between the City of David Association, the Ministry of Tourism, the Jerusalem Municipality, the Ministry of Jerusalem Affairs and the Jewish National Fund, and is managed and implemented by the Government Tourism Company.

As part of the project, which is expected to be completed as early as 2021, an impressive visitor center will be established, which will extend over three floors and allow tourists who visit the place to view the old city and connect to the history of the city in an experiential way.

On the top floor of the building will be an observation deck, which will allow a view of ancient Jerusalem: the Old City Basin, the City of David and the Temple Mount.

On the mezzanine floor, a performance will be launched, which will use innovative technologies and expose visitors to the past of Jerusalem and its main stories, on top of the current topography.

A tourist information center and a restaurant will be located on the entrance floor of the building.

Omega is also expected to leave this place, which will reach as far as the Peace Forest and will be another tourist attraction.

During the rescue excavations, which have been carried out in recent months in preparation for the construction of the building, three royal stone titles from the First Temple period were exposed and intensified the importance of the project.

Uriah Desberg, VP of Development of the City of David: "What we thought we identified for the first time as a perfect location for a central building and as an observation of ancient Jerusalem, was discovered by the royal and aristocratic people of Jerusalem who lived in this building 2,600 years ago.

The Kingdom of Judah comes to life and still allows us to connect in a new way to the Bible and the history of Jerusalem. .

The new tourist site, which is expected to receive millions of tourists each year, will serve as a gateway south of ancient Jerusalem and will provide a unique, multi-sensory and intriguing experience regarding the continuation of the tour in the Israeli capital.
