There are these ways to cheat.

The hype about Pokémon Go seems unbroken.

All over the world, young people and adults cavort on the streets and in nature to capture the popular monsters.

It's the first time you can play Pokémon on your smartphone.

So far, this was only possible on the in-house consoles of the Japanese game manufacturer Nintendo.

But Nintendo could no longer ignore the general development away from the console towards interactive games on the smartphone and finally decided to bring out Pokémon Go for the smartphone via the subsidiary Niantech.

Update 09/13

: 39-year-old plays Pokémon GO next to church - then it happens, as reported by extratipp.com *.

With outstanding success.

Nintendo's share price skyrocketed and the download numbers broke all records.

Nintendo is now worth more than electronics giant Sony.

The app has officially been available for download in Germany for a week, and the hunt for the little monsters has already given rise to all sorts of curious stories.

Not really familiar with Pokémon Go because you've just started?

Here you will find the best tips for beginners.

But the hunt for the "pocket monsters" (= Pokémon) in Pokémon Go also requires a lot of activity from the players.

If you want to be good or catch a lot of Pokémon and level up quickly, you have to invest a lot of time in the game.

It is of course clear that a multitude of tips and tricks will almost inevitably sprout out of the ground that can facilitate and accelerate success with Pokémon Go.

Here you will find an overview of the most common methods.

Pokémon Go: Hatching Egg Tricks

The central element in Pokémon Go is not only catching monsters but also hatching eggs, which you can get at various Pokéstops, for example.

You start hatching by clicking on "Pokémon" in the menu and then selecting the "Eggs" tab at the top.

Then you take one of the eggs that you already have and incubate it with the incubator.

Depending on the required distance of the egg (2, 5 or 10 kilometers), a rare or more frequently dying Pokémon will hatch after completion.

An egg from which a Pokémon only hatches after 10 kilometers of running takes a long time to hatch.

Especially since the app recognizes the simple "shitting" caused by bus or tram travel as the GPS signal moves too quickly.

Only in stop-and-go traffic should short distances be counted towards the mileage account.

There are numerous tips circulating on the Internet on how to speed up the incubation of eggs, for example:

Bicycle

spoke

:

Glue your smartphone into the spokes of your bicycle, turn the wheel upside down and then set the tire in motion by turning the pedals.

By rotating the smartphone, the GPS signal is led to believe that you are moving, even though the mobile phone is not actually moving.

However, you should attach your smartphone well to the spokes.

Record player:

Same effect as with the bicycle spokes, only here the mobile phone is simply placed on the rotating record player.

Ceiling fan:

Even with a good attachment of the mobile phone to the ceiling fan, the GPS signal can be fooled into movement and thus the meters covered for the eggs to hatch.

Vacuum cleaner robot:

Alternatively, the smartphone can also be placed on an active vacuum cleaner robot or an automated lawnmower.

Pokémon Go: Cheating with Fake GPS

The basic concept of Pokémon Go is clear.

By moving in the real world, your own character moves using a GPS signal on the map in Pokémon Go.

Pokéstops and arenas are controlled by your own activity and wild Pokémons can be caught.

If you stay seated in the living room, you usually have little chance of catching new Pokémon or leveling up.

If it weren't for the possibility of manipulating or completely reprogramming one's GPS signal.

With special tools, the GPS location can be changed on Android phones or jailbroken iOS devices.

Excursions to the mountains or desert to only catch Pokémon that occur there, or even to New York, where there is supposed to be the largest variety of Pokémon in the world, are easily possible.

Corresponding programs are called "GPS Faker" or "Spoofer", instructions can be found in abundance in the various developer forums on the Internet.

The popular hatching of eggs is also child's play with the help of a manipulated GPS signal and a programmed route.

The practice enjoys great popularity, many players explain the occurrence of competitors with extremely high level after just a few days with the GPS cheat.

This seems to work so well in particular because the developer Niantec has difficulty in proving manipulated GPS signals and only temporary bans are used as punishments.

However, Niantech seems to have recognized the problem and is using algorithms against the GPS fraudsters.

Pokémon Go players who use fake GPS can also seriously disrupt the fun of honest players.

And not just by catching and collecting items at the Poké Stops, but by fighting in the arena.

Because there you don't have the slightest chance against the mostly much stronger opponents who have cheated with the GPS signal.

And the fun goes by and by.

Who does not know it: The constant appearance of Taubsi, Habitak, Rattfratz, Zubat and Co. slowly but surely robs you of the fun, especially if you have already registered the corresponding developments in your Pokédex.

One would rather hunt one rare Pokémon after the other, but the starting point of the search and the search itself are usually very difficult.

Pokémon are displayed in the immediate vicinity while playing, but this is limited to a small radius.

A map with the locations of all Pokémon would make the hunt for the rare monsters much easier.

The developers Braydon Batungbacal and Nick DiVona thought so too and have developed an app that tells you where which Pokémon can be found regardless of your own location.

The card is fed directly from the Pokémon Go community.

Anyone who finds a Pokémon can enter the location and time in the Poké Radar and thus make it accessible to other players.

A filter can also be used to search for individual Pokémon.

The English-language app is relatively self-explanatory, but sometimes has to struggle with some hiccups due to the high level of access.

Since you can theoretically enter any Pokémon you want on the card, there is also a rating system with which the credibility of each find can be rated by other users.

If a Pokémon has a bad rating, it is most likely a fake.

The Poké Rader is currently available for iOS devices and as a desktop version, an Android app is in the works.
