There is still a lot to be done in terms of equal rights for men and women, says presenter, actress and author Collien Ulmen-Fernandes.
"We live in a pseudo-equality," said the 38-year-old the newspapers of the Funke media group.
"There are a lot of men who join in a little and then speak of equality that is not really given."
About her marriage to actor Christian Ulmen, she said: "We are now living absolutely equally when it comes to the distribution of tasks At home."
However, she often hears from her environment: "How can Collien drive to a shoot? She has a child."
Men never heard anything like that.
"Many still see men as breadwinners, and women just pursue a hobby."
Gender clichés are also still widespread with regard to children.
"The world of the current generation of children is more stereotyped than ever before," said Ulmen-Fernandes.
"In the toy catalogs, the girls are in the children's kitchen, the boys are the superheroes."
Such clichés have to be "broken very early".
