Alexander Zverev is the first semifinalist of the US Open tennis: the German, number 5 on the draw, defeated Borna Coric in four sets, 1-6, 7-6 (7/5), 7-6 (7/1) , 6-3 in 3 hours and 25 minutes, on the field of Arthur Ashe Stadium.
Zverev, in search of the first Grand Slam title, will play his cards for the final against the Canadian Denis Shapovalov and the Spanish Pablo Carreno Busta.
