The agreement with the United Arab Emirates is due to be signed next week and shortly thereafter, all details regarding the entry of Israelis into the country are expected to be closed.

Without referring to Corona, Israelis will of course be able to enter the United Arab Emirates, an entry visa may be required and there is a possibility that entry will be free and unlimited.

Regarding the spread of the epidemic in the Emirates and the situation of Israel as a red state, currently in the UAE require tourists who come from all over the world to present a negative corona test from the last four days and at the same time fill out a health statement regarding their medical condition.

If you are unable to perform the corona check before the flight, you can also do it at the Emirates airport and wait in isolation at the hotel until an answer is received.

If the answer is no, you can go for a walk, if it is positive - you will be transferred to a government isolation facility for 14 days, the isolation will be at your expense.

At the entrance to the Emirates, they also demand proof that their concern is for health insurance that will cover you in various medical cases and, of course, in a situation where you will need treatment in Corona.

It is currently unclear when direct flights to the Emirates will begin, but it is likely that Israelis will be able to enter the country even before that happens.

Those who can not wait will be able to land in the Emirates will have to do so at least initially with a connection flight.

It is important to note that the United Arab Emirates is considered a green country and therefore, anyone who returns from it to Israel will not have to go into isolation.

As a result, it is possible that in the coming weeks and perhaps even during the holidays, we will be able to fly with an Israeli passport for a vacation in the UAE and return from it without isolation.

The first airline to be expected to operate direct flights to the Emirates is Israir, which has already submitted a formal application to operate flights to the destination.

UAE airlines are expected to begin the process only after signing the agreement and the expectation is that they will arrive in Israel within a few weeks.
