(ANSA) - NEW YORK, 09 SEPT - The crisis linked to the pandemic "is far from over. The recovery remains fragile and uncertain and to ensure that it continues it is essential that the aid granted is not withdrawn prematurely". This was stated by the general director of the IMF Kristalina Georgieva, and the chief economist of the Gita Gopinath Fund, in an editorial on Foreing Policy. "A full recovery is unlikely without a permanent solution" from the health point of view: "the availability of a vaccine, or successful treatments for Covid-19, will improve the global outlook", adds Georgieva, highlighting that a "global and synchronized distribution of the vaccine is in the interest of all countries ".
