The Israeli actress who won to wear Chanel haute couture for the red carpet in Venice

Not every day an Israeli actress is honored to wear a dress from the prestigious fashion house.

Actress Naama Price, who walked the red carpet of the film festival, surprised with a minimalist, clean and precise white dress.

A few hours earlier, she was wearing a winning suit.

Well, almost

The red carpet unveiled at the Venice Film Festival managed to excite and intrigue us for many reasons, centered on the return of the glittering and well-publicized events after the difficult corona period.

Yesterday the excitement escalated when we saw the Israeli cast of the film "Night in Haifa" by Amos Gitai walking the red carpet.

Of all of them, actress Naama Price caught our eye, who understood the class, and came to the red carpet of the festival dressed in Chanel haute couture.

The fact that the old fashion house and one of the largest and most prestigious in the world dresses an Israeli actress is no small matter.

This is a rare event that does not happen often and therefore, as soon as we identified an Israeli actress wearing a Chanel haute couture dress - we had to linger and understand the matter.

Sparkling, recycled, accurate: Cate Blanchett stunned everyone on the red carpet in Venice

Price wore a white dress from the French fashion house from the couture collection of spring-summer 2020. This is a clean white dress, which could have completely served as a minimalist bride with a considerable budget.

This is a dress with a square key in the chest, a delicate slit and a fleece-like fabric.

The top of the dress has an extra layer of fabric in the chest area, with an extension of five shaped buttons, and the bottom expands slightly.

At first glance this is a fairly simple dress.

If the Israeli already has a chance to wear Chanel - we would be happy if she would go for it with all her might to the end - and wear one of the special designs seen on the runways, ones that can not be worn anywhere other than a red carpet.

However, delving into the dress and staring long at the details can explain why this is a dress from the couture collection.

Delicate handwork in the fabric folds, as well as the inlay of the buttons, prove that this is an elite stitching beyond any doubt.

Price added delicate black heels to the dress and spread the blonde, who was bright, healthy and especially graceful.

A simple dress but clean and accurate.

So how does an Israeli actress wear Chanel haute couture?

The secret is in the stylist.

The person who made the connection between the local actress and the prestigious fashion house was Zedrian Smith, a journalist, producer and stylist, whose client list includes actresses and models like Naomi Scott or Wayne Harlow and whose resume includes work with prominent fashion houses such as Gucci, Dior, Valentino, Fendi, Bulgarian, Mugler and more and more.

Once Smith was hired to dress Price, one could know for sure that she would get to wear super designer clothes, an opportunity she probably would not have had had it not been for the stylist.

Still, this is an honor reserved for international A-list stars and unfortunately, Price is not yet there in her own right.

But maybe after this festival, it will happen.

In addition to Chanel's precise white dress, Price wore an Alberta Pratti light blue suit to another event at the film festival, also a stylist's choice.

This is a suit with straight and wide cut pants and a double-breasted blazer with pockets on the front, to which she ordered silver sandals and feline sunglasses.

A suit, for those who do not yet follow, has become a must-have item in the closet in recent seasons.

No matter if it is a long or short suit, almost every woman must have one set in her wardrobe these days.

It is not inconceivable that what led the suit, an item of masculine clothing, to take over the female wardrobe, is the spirit of the era, in which women are not afraid to demonstrate and fight against sexual violence or objectification towards them.

When the phrase "female empowerment" takes over the language, it is only natural that a clothing item that symbolizes it should become mega fashionable.

Add to that the fact that soft pastel colors are very true this season - and you've got a winning outfit.

Even the surgical face mask, which ruins every look, managed to fit in great here as it is also painted in light blue, which corresponds with the color of the suit.

Even the face mask fitted.

But despite the successful choice, we have a few comments and excuse us for coming to ruin the atmosphere.

If Price had worn this exact Alberta Pratty suit for an event that was all durable - we would not complain, but the choice to wear a crumpled garment for the day of sitting and getting up and sitting and getting up - just looks bad.

This is a recurring mistake among quite a few stars, and perhaps it is time to turn the spotlight on the issue.

The creases in the pants just aren't flattering, and with how great this suit is - the creases make the look cheap.

A different fabric or fewer transitions from sitting to standing would solve the problem.

Also Price's decision to lift the sleeves nonchalantly less workers.

There may have been an attempt here to convey effortless casualness, but the result is a bit disparaging to the exact blazer.

Proper folding would have done the job, or just suffered in the heat.

After all, what is an air conditioner for?

Price arrived on the red carpet of the Venice Film Festival with a respected Israeli team that includes Hannah Leslau, Maria Zrick, Bahira Blassi and Amos Gitai.

Although everyone seemed glam befitting the class, Price stole the show.

We only hope that this will be the beginning of a wonderful friendship between Israeli actresses and reputable fashion houses such as Chanel.

Admittedly, there are quite a few more stars here, who may not have broken out at the international level yet, but are totally deserving of it - and can hold a designer's outfit on exemplary precision.
