"It worked for all my kids": The simple trick of getting your crying baby down in seconds
A desperate father posted on Facebook a video of him trying to put the little one to sleep and recalling a trick he had heard in the past.
He performed the experiment in front of the camera - and managed to put his baby to sleep in less than 20 seconds.
Many parents were shocked: "I tried this on my three sons and they all fell asleep"

Has the quickest method to put a crying baby to sleep been under our noses all this time?
Or in this case, above it?
A desperate father shared a simple trick for anesthetizing every crying baby - stroking his eyebrows.
Austin Miles Getter, of Dallas, posted a video on Facebook in which he demonstrates how he manages to put his sweet baby, Charlie, to sleep in a matter of seconds and without much effort.
It works so well for him that parents found it hard to believe that this method would work for them as well.
In the video - released on August 26 under the headline "This trick really worked great. She fell asleep" - Austin is seen holding Charlie with his hand under her chin and rocking it back and forth.
He says in the video: "So here, she keeps crying because I constantly have to change position, but I know she's sleepy."
He adds: "I heard that if you gently rub their eyebrows, they fall asleep, so I will try it."

The father began to gently stroke one of the baby's eyebrows with one finger and she - who until a moment before had looked quite alert - began to close her eyes and take a nap.
For a moment she opens her eyes again and the trick does not seem to work, but Austin continues and within seconds Charlie falls into a deep sleep.
The video ends with Austin happily responding as he discovers that the method works.

Parents hurried to try it at home and to our surprise - found that the method did work.
"She's so cute. I tried it on my three boys and they all fell asleep," one wrote and another added, "I tried it on my little baby and it worked. She also loved when I touched between the eyebrows and down to the nose."
A third father wrote: "I wish I knew about this trick 17 years ago when my daughter was still a baby."
Another parent wrote that the trick does not only work on babies: "My son will be 5 years old in March and this trick works on him too."
Not all parents were convinced it worked, "the baby was tired anyway," one wrote, "it may have calmed her down but a crying baby will not calm down from a light caress on her back."
Another added: "You said the baby was crying but she seemed calm and tired to me."
Austin has previously released other videos of himself with Charlie, including one in which he anesthetizes her while he sings popular songs from "Tiktok."
