The 77th Venice Film Festival started on Tuesday last week and is about to end.

No doubt we missed the red carpet and glittering events, but unfortunately these events will probably never look like they did in the past.

The first is of course the face masks that the stars wore on the red carpet, which they combined with couture dresses, something that never was and probably will take time to get used to.

But it was not just the face masks that made us realize that the events had changed, the kisses in the air and the social distance stood out in the event.

The one who stood out in particular was the actress Cate Blanchett who came to the event with a prominent agenda and a clear fashion statement as she took with her only looks she had already worn in the past.

The star told WWD magazine that she is going to wear only mirrors she has worn in the past during every 10 days of the festival to promote the theme of damage caused to the environment following the world's fastest fashion industry.

Apart from this fact, the actress has announced that she intends to donate every look she wore this week, in collaboration with the designers she wore, to RAD and CHIC RELIEF, two organizations that aim to raise money for women affected by the corona plague and also against anti-racism organizations in the United States.

The director of the association CHIC RELIEF is the stylist of the stars Elizabeth Stewart who wrote on her Instagram page that it is chic to recycle, thus she is in fact leading a new trend in Hollywood.

Other actresses enlisted for the cause, including Demi Moore, Tilda Swinton, Jia Coppola and others who wore memorable couture looks from the past on the red carpet this week.

Among Blanchett's standout looks, we especially loved the dress she wore last night (Wednesday) in honor of the premiere of the movie "The Spy's Wife."

She wore a black wrap dress in a maxi cut with a long trail of Armani Friva from the brand's Spring Summer 2015 collection, the same dress she wore on the same red carpet in Venice in 2015. The dress in question was specially designed for the actress at the time who managed to precede the bow tie trend.

The star also wore a classic Louis Vuitton tailored blazer last night, which she paired with black leather pants and a t-shirt with a fist and a pink background that was the official shirt of the women's march in Washington in 2016. Blanchett completed the look with a black Gucci bag, one of the bags The icons of the brand called the Jackie Bag 1961, and is named after fashion icon Jackie Kennedy.

Blanchett is known for her love and affection for the style of Mrs. Jackie Onassis, and she often displays her style at every possible opportunity on the red carpet.

The bag in question is available in a wide variety of prints, colors and sizes, including a mini bag, a medium bag and a large bag and is available for purchase here.

The price ranges from $ 1,490 to $ 3,000.

Last Tuesday the star wore a unique look in honor of the premiere of the film "Love after Love", a look that managed to stun the world.

Blanchett wore a long black blazer, which she combined over a vintage couture dress with layers of ruffles in a cream-colored one-shoulder shoulder cut by Alexander McQueen and spiky black high heels by Giuseppe Zanotti.

The actress wore the look in question for the first time and she calls the dress a dress of happiness, which will bring a lot of luck to the next buyer.

That afternoon the star wore a black tailored suit from the ACNE brand, which she paired with a black button-down shirt.

The blazer looks especially luxurious when adorned with unique silver jewelry.

The star in question wore the look in question in the past in 2018, so she combined it with a matching button-down shirt in a cream color, which in our eyes worked better than this look.

Cycling mirrors from the past is not exactly something new, the Duchess of Cambridge and fashion icon Kate Middleton have long since started the trend in question as she often wears dresses from the past on the red carpet.

Could it be that now that Hollywood movie actresses are also embracing the trend and it will become the standard?

time will tell.
