Coronavirus: Mexico, 4,857 cases and 554 deaths in 24 hours

(ANSA) - ROME, SEPTEMBER 11 - Mexico yesterday recorded 4,857 cases of coronavirus and a further 554 deaths: the country's Health Ministry announced.

The new data bring the overall balance of infections to 652,364 and that of deaths to 69,649.

    According to Johns Hopkins University, Mexico is the fourth country in the world for the number of deaths from Covid-19 - after the USA, Brazil and India - and is the seventh for number of cases after the USA, India, Brazil, Russia, Peru and Colombia.
