(ANSAmed) - BELGRADE, SEPTEMBER 11 - Strong leap in infections in Slovenia, where in the last 24 hours there were 108 new coronavirus cases, a daily record since the beginning of the pandemic last March. For the first time, regional media report, in the ex-Yugoslav country the daily toll of infections has exceeded 100.
The increase, according to the media, is due to a significant increase in tests carried out, which yesterday were a record of 2,758. The death toll remains unchanged at 135, while the total number of infections to date is 3,498, with 701 active cases. There are 27 patients in the hospital, of which five are in intensive care.
