(ANSA) - ROME, SEPTEMBER 11 - Al Qaeda returns to threaten the French weekly Charlie Hebdo, which republished levignette on the Prophet Mohammed at the origin of the terrorist attack of January 7, 2015 to its editorial office in Paris, in which 12 people died and another 11 remained wounds.
This was reported by the online jihadist activity monitoring site Site.
Rita Katz, director of Site, points out that on the occasion of the 9/11 anniversary, al Qaida Central released the English version of issue 3 of One Ummah magazine.
The new publication "contains much of the same material - profiles of the 9/11 bombers, damage to the United States, etc. - and a new introduction to Charlie Hebdo," writes Katz, adding that it will be followed by a speech by al Qaeda leader, Ayman. al Zawahiri.
On the occasion of the start in Paris of the trial of 14 defendants accused at different levels of complicity and logistical support to the perpetrators of the massacres, Charlie Hebdo has recently reprinted the cartoons on the Prophet.
And now according to al Qaeda, "it will pay the price" again, the magazine says, the director of Site reports via Twitter.
