But what if the scene is not dominated by skills, but by tricky cheaters?

cheating in the games sector
seems to grow into a serious problem.
Most recently, video game giant Call of Duty suspended the accounts of 70,000 cheaters and introduced a zero tolerance policy.

In a small study, the compare.bet portal examined the
games for which the most cheats exist

For this purpose, monthly Google searches for Great Britain and the USA were used to determine for which games cheat codes are particularly popular.
The front runner in the comparison.bet game comparison was the
life simulation "Sims 4"
, followed by the open-world game "Grand Theft Auto: V" and "Sims 3".
For "Sims 4" there is by far the greatest demand for cheats in Great Britain and the USA.
Every month, players search for codes to cheat an average of 87,000 times (UK) and 404,000 times (US).
There are cheats for money, real estate and relationship tricks that make it easy for players to shape their ideal life in the simulation.
The temptation is of course great and the first place in the ranking is hardly surprising.

For the second-placed
“Grand Theft Auto: V”
, players make 35,300 (Great Britain) and 154,000 (USA) searches for cheat codes every month.
From free weapons to greater speed, the codes that can literally make players invincible.
However, the challenge tends to zero and so is the fun.
For the same reasons as "Sims 4",
"Sims 3"
also lands in
third place in the ranking.
The search query “The Sims 3 Cheat Codes” is submitted to Google 9,000 times (Great Britain) and 56,000 times (USA).
The two Sims titles together come together to a remarkable 556,000 cheat requests per month, which makes the series an Eldorado for swindlers and cheaters.
