San Francisco is like an apocalyptic landscape colored in orange.
A flight through the sky of fire, on board Southwest Airlines from San Francisco to Denver - shows the full extent of the disaster: The devastating forest fires on the US west coast have already displaced tens of thousands of people, more than 20 people have died, Dozens are missing.
California Governor Gavin Newsom inspected the damage in the fire-ravaged recreation area of Oroville in the north of the state.
All climate change skeptics - including US President Trump - the Democrat had a clear message:

Media reports show a completely burned out rehab facility for children with cancer.
In the fire zone in Butte County just under 300 kilometers north of San Francisco, 9 deaths have been reported so far, 19 people are still missing.
The local fire department smoldering remains are still too hot in many places to search the areas thoroughly.
The fires are raging along the entire west coast - the states of California and Oregon are particularly hard hit.
In California alone, a record area of more than 12,700 square kilometers of land burned down this year.
