Morbidity data from the corona virus in Israel continue to be high.

Last night (Friday) about 3,932 people were diagnosed with the virus and this is actually the third day that the daily number of patients reaches about 4,000.

The number of active corona patients now stands at 36,472.

Of those infected, nearly 1,000 are hospitalized (993), of whom 486 are defined as critically ill and 137 are respirators.

The number of deaths continues to rise and stands at 1091.

125,695 people are currently in home isolation.

The number of laboratory tests performed last night stands at 42,581, above the average of tests last week which stands at 36,199.

The positive rate among those infected is 11%.

About two-thirds of patients come from red (1,319) and orange (1,223) localities.

And another third of the patients (1,360) come from other localities.

The number of medical staff in isolation is 3,065.

Of these, 427 are physicians and 887 are nurses.

There are 824 staff members infected in Corona.

Last Thursday, 4,038 people were diagnosed in Corona out of 47,336 tests, with the positive rate for the virus being 8.8%.

The corona wards in the hospitals have a high occupancy rate.

At Maayan Hayeshua, Shaare Zedek and Rambam hospitals, occupancy was reported to be more than 100%.
