Smells bad:

An advertisement for a perfume from Carolina Herrera, which the Super Pharm network posted on its Facebook page, provoked quite a bit of anger among surfers on the page because of the chauvinistic motif it presents, according to them.

The ad, which has so far garnered more than 29,000 views, shows a blonde model wearing a short black outfit, holding the perfume bottle and looking seductively at the camera.

The advertisement on the page was accompanied by the caption in Hebrew: "Be whatever you want, hidden and shy or sexy and seductive, with this perfume you can be both."

The surfers who watched the commercial, the creative and the message were less impressed, and the angry reactions flooded the post.

"From those who have not yet internalized that there is no longer any forgiveness for female desire and it is time to move forward," a surfer wrote.

"I choose to be intelligent, sensitive, confident and funny. With touches of 'What shuts you down?!?'

Is there such a perfume? Because yours stinks a bit of chauvinism, "added another surfer.

"Sit around the table again and reconsider a route because your message is problematic and not empowering and compelling."

"Horror - the rape in Eilat was not enough ... why do I have a feeling that behind the keyboard of the page management, a 'genius' with a boxer is writing to him ...", an angry reaction reacted as many others hurried to strengthen her words.

"Be whatever you want, embarrassing and outdated or irrelevant and creepy. With this post you both came out."

"Just want to smell good not to develop a split personality ... and who thought that photographing her from below would be a good idea ?? Are you tired," said another response, which like most of them received dozens of supportive likes.

"Lol Really idiotic advertisement. Thank you for the sobriety of the women here who also have intelligence among other things."

"As if the rape in Eilat was not enough for you ... and you continue with commercials that speak in the same breath, woman = sex - quotes your 'genius' monkey: 'Be what you want, hidden and shy or sexy and seductive.' And also a prisoner tracking your ads. "

"Stop using the woman's sexuality for sale. You are only encouraging rape and repulsive language. Do not worry, we will buy in heaven without transmitting sexuality ... Principle will not be bought from you.

Alongside the angry voices, there were also those who argued that the anger should be directed towards the original advertiser Carolina Herrera and not against Super Pharm, and that these were annoying complaints.

"How boring is it for one to look for a subversive and conspiratorial message against women in a perfume advertisement?", A surfer wrote and replied:

"First of all it's a Carolina Herrera commercial, just translated ... so if you're looking for someone to turn to you ... no matter I did not understand where chauvinism is here but maybe it's just me."

"This is an advertisement for someone who presents it for me, at the moment it is the page of SuperPharm," replied another surfer.

"Let's think for a moment. If so many women resent the choice between hidden and shy and sexy and seductive, then there's probably a problem here."

"Oh, you drove me crazy! This is an advertisement from abroad!

"If that bothers you so much, send Carolina Herrera a message on their Facebook page," another surfer concluded.

Following the request of "Israel Today", it was reported that the controversial caption will be removed.

The Super Pharm network stated: "The text attached to the advertisement in question is inconsistent with the values of the Super-Pharm network and upon receipt of the information, it was dropped from the network's Facebook page."
