A 16-year-old died on Sunday night at a private party for several teenagers and young adults in the Hamburg district of Winterhude.
According to initial findings, the adolescent consumed small amounts of beer and ecstasy and then collapsed, the police situation center confirmed to SPIEGEL.
A toxicological report is still pending.
The emergency doctor who was called could not revive the young woman, she died on the spot.
The incident was a tragic accident, said the situation center.
