(ANSA) - ROME, SEPTEMBER 13 - Slight decrease in infections compared to Saturday: 1,458 new cases of coronavirus ascertained in the last 24 hours that bring the total from the beginning of the emergency to 287,297.
However, the decrease is affected by the lower number of tampons carried out: about 20 thousand less than yesterday (72.143 against 92.706).
There are seven victims in one day, for a total of 35,610 while there is no region without new cases.
Intensive therapies, on the other hand, continue to rise and, for the first time since June, the patients hospitalized in the other departments exceed two thousand. From the data of the Ministry of Health it emerges that 187 people hospitalized in intensive care, 5 more than yesterday, while in the ordinary wards there are now 2,042 patients, 91 more than Saturday. 1,006 new patients bringing the total of the currently positive to 38,509. There are 36,280 people in home isolation, 910 more than yesterday. Lastly, there was a 443 increase in the number of people discharged and healed in the last 24 hours for a total of 213,634 (ANSA).
