In Argentina, 9,056 new coronavirus infections were reported in the last 24 hours, while deaths were 89 in that same period, according to the Ministry of Health. 

In the morning report of the portfolio, 44 ​​deaths were reported, corresponding to 27 men and 17 women (14 from the province of Buenos Aires, 13 from CABA, 5 from Jujuy, 3 from Neuquén, 3 from Río Negro, 2 from Chaco, 2 from Salta, 1 from Santiago del Estero and 1 from Santa Fe).

Last Saturday, 26,254 tests had been carried out and since the beginning of the outbreak there were a total of 1,540,101 diagnostic tests for this disease, which is equivalent to 33,940.3 samples per million inhabitants.

The number of cases discarded up to that day was 847,244.

Despite the contagions, this Sunday a new national flag summoned thousands of demonstrators who marched to the Buenos Aires Obelisk and in different cities of the country to protest against the Government.

The claim came days after the removal of the coparticipation from the City of Buenos Aires by the Government and the house arrest of businessman K Lázaro Báez.

Doctors have been warning for weeks of the tension in the health system in some provinces.

Such is the case of Orán, the city of Salta where the health system is saturated and there have been more than 1,000 confirmed cases since the start of the pandemic.

In the town of Salta, deaths continue to increase and the claims of neighbors who need attention are repeated.

To decompress the situation, on Saturday night there were 21 doctors and nurses sent by the national government to reinforce the San Vicente de Paul Hospital.

In this sense, in CABA the five neighborhoods with the highest rate of increase in infections in the last week were Villa Ortúzar, Versalles, Belgrano, Núñez and Puerto Madero.

The growth there was between 12.3 and 16.8%, when the average increase in cases in the City is 8%.
