(ANSA) - ROME, SEPTEMBER 14 - An earthquake of magnitude 3.5 was recorded at 5:47 am in the west of Sicily, in the province of Trapani.
According to the findings of the National Institute of Geophysics and Evulcanology (Ingv), the earthquake had a hypocenter at a depth of 14 km and an epicenter near the municipalities of Vita and Salemi.
There are no reports of damage to people or things.
The shock was preceded and followed by two other earthquakes, both of magnitude 3.1.
