For the personification of the legendary director Rainer Werner Fassbinder, Oliver Masucci ate a big belly.
The actor told in an interview how he grew for the role.
"In the morning I drank two or three wheat beers so that my stomach puffed up slowly and became even bigger," said Masucci to the "Playboy".
Otherwise he started to eat breakfast mainly for the stomach.
If he does, he'll get hungry again two hours later and will have lunch.
Then he had to eat cake, said the 51-year-old.
In the evening he went to eat well and drank red wine.
"In the end, I didn't deserve anything from this film because it all flowed into my stomach," said Masucci.
"I said to the producer that you would just have to give me ten to 15,000 euros to pay for this belly that I ate."
The producer just laughed.
The film "Enfant Terrible" by Oskar Roehler will be released on October 1st.
Usually Masucci says he eats very differently.
That consists of partial fasting or intermittent fasting: "I'm more Italian than German, my papa is Neapolitan," said the actor.
"We never had breakfast. We had a bit of lunch and then again late at night."
