Thousands of Israelis will take advantage of the next two days to fly from here, and spend at least a few days quarantining in green countries, the main thing is to take advantage of the time and freshen up a bit.

So we asked vacation line company experts to put us in order with questions that bother many of us: how can we still fly and where, how do we tell the field, where to get Corona tests in English and other important questions for going abroad in the coming days.

1. Which flights are approved?

Approved flights are listed on the Airports Authority website.

You can go to the website and see which flights appear, on behalf of which airline and to which flight destination.

Most airlines have taken care of happy slots before deciding on the closure, so there are quite a few flights to a large variety of destinations to which you can book and safely, flight tickets.

For example, the Greek airline Blue Bird Airways operates charter flights to Greece: Crete, Kos, Rhodes and Athens.

2. How to get to the airport?

There is no prohibition during the closure period to arrive at Ben Gurion Airport, with the presentation of a flight ticket valid for the day of the flight in case a police officer stops you.

It is therefore important to make sure you have a valid flight ticket from the travel agency where you made the reservation for your flight abroad. Tourist wholesalers and various travel agencies, allows you to receive a ticket in PDF file, directly to your mobile device, so that it can be easily displayed.

3. Corona examination and other topology

Quite a few of the green countries allow entry to them only upon presentation of a negative corona test within 72 hours before the flight date.

Be sure to ask the test institute for approval for the test in English!

Greece, for example, wants to go beyond the third corona test, also filling out an entry form for Greece PLF + filling out an exit form from Israel on the Ministry of Health website - sounds complicated but really simple.

For those who have difficulty filling out the forms, the booking representatives at the travel companies will help you fill out all the forms and obtain the permits, so that you can board the flight easily while you have all the necessary paperwork.

Attach a detailed file "Do's and don'ts before your flight", according to the destination of the trip, including links to the forms.

Ask for approval in English.

4. Which green countries are currently

The green countries updated today (16.9.20) by the Ministry of Health, to which Israelis are allowed to fly without entering or returning to Israel for isolation, are:

Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria, England, Ireland, Hungary, Georgia, Norway, Estonia, Germany, Lithuania, Latvia ,

Canada, Denmark, Finland, Uruguay, Iceland, Serbia, Jordan, Italy, Portugal, UAE, Rwanda, Hong

Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Cuba, Seychelles, New Zealand, Thailand.

Green countries until September 22, after which they turn red and require isolation in the country:

Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Austria The

list of green countries is updated on the Ministry of Health website.

5. 5,000 Israelis a week to Greece

Yes, this is the number of Israelis allowed to enter Greece every week today.

Therefore, it is important to advance and fill out the PLF forms near the date of the order (it is also possible before) and thus reserve a safe entry permit to Greece during the holiday period and closure in Israel.

It is important to note that there is no day limit in terms of stay at the destination.

You can stay a week, two weeks or three for your enjoyment.

6. Corona tests before the flight

Continue as usual even during the period of closure in health centers and hospitals around the country.

Most tourism wholesalers have exclusive benefits at a variety of testing institutes, which will save you hundreds of shekels per family for the test.

It is worth checking this out with the booking representative.

For example, vacation lines, Eshet Tours and others allow discounted tests (NIS 300 instead of NIS 550) at both Assaf Harofeh and Assuta clinics, upon presentation of a valid flight ticket and receipt of a discount coupon upon booking.

It is important to emphasize the maximum price that can be demanded for a corona test as determined by the Israeli government is NIS 297.

7. Travel agencies are active almost 24 hours a day

The leading travel agencies will increase the staff of agents in the booking rooms, and extend the hours of operation and booking centers throughout the holiday period, including the closure period, so that packages abroad can continue to be ordered continuously and regularly without any restrictions or limitations.
