Six projects, mainly from a green perspective, for a total of 9.3 billion euros, those of the Ministry of Agricultural Policies for the use of the resources of the Recovery fund. From that to "improve the resilience of the irrigation agroecosystem to hydrogeological instability and drought" worth 3 billion over 6 years for the efficient and rational use of water with new technologies (meters and remote control), to the development project of "biogas refinery and the stimulus to agro-ecological conversion of agricultural practices", which foresees 2 billion in 3 years and five months. The aim is to increase the production of biomethane and reduce greenhouse gas emissions in agriculture and the use of chemical fertilizers. There is the "Modernization of olive milling plants" project, 1.2 billion in 3.5 years, and the "Strengthening supply chain and district contracts" project for one billion in 4 years. And again the project "Accelerating the green and digital transition of the agricultural sector, through the introduction of innovations in mechanization, with the aim of encouraging the implementation of precision agriculture", for a cost of 1.5 billion in 3, 5 years. Finally, for "Loans disbursed to companies in the agricultural and fishing sectors affected by the Covid-19 epidemic" the ministry envisages a two-year project for 600 million euros.
