Only yesterday (Tuesday) did an airline company announce the sale of vacation packages to the Seychelles and even mentioned the prices of the packages, dates and various options.
But the island nation realized that many Israelis were going to come, and decided to close the gates and announced that Israelis would not be able to enter.
As a result, aviation ties have canceled holiday packages, flights already listed on Ben Gurion Airport's flight schedule will not take off for Seychelles and Israelis who have built a vacation in the exotic destination will have to wait until the morbidity rate in the country has dropped significantly.
Those who will be able to enter the Seychelles are citizens of many countries with a low morbidity rate, who will present negative corona tests within 72 hours.
Israel, as mentioned, is far from being one of them.
Earlier today, the list of green countries was published, including Seychelles starring as a new country on the list, which is also joined by Iceland, Serbia and Cuba.
The countries that have been removed from the green policy list and turned red are Croatia, Hungary, Austria and Slovenia.
The first was received by Israelis, but anyone returning from these countries after September 22 will have to go into isolation.
