Hollywood star Samuel L. Jackson ("Pulp Fiction") has kept a promise.

The 71-year-old had called on citizens via Twitter to register for the US presidential elections at the beginning of November via a website - to ensure that they can actually vote.

If 2500 people comply with this request, he wants to teach his fans curses in 15 different languages, Jackson said.

Obviously, this goal was achieved quickly.

Jackson tweeted a video showing him wearing a mouth and nose mask with the message "Vote" on it.

He's also wearing a t-shirt that says "Your vote counts".

Then the actor holds various signs with swear words in the camera - and curses in languages such as Basque, Vietnamese and Ukrainian.

Finally, Jackson calls on his followers to go to the polls: "Spread the word, make sure that other voters register and vote yourself."
