In the same way, he revealed that it was a decision that both made, and that they want to share with their followers.

"It was a mutual and difficult decision, but necessary. NO, this is not something that I am publishing to cause controversy or 'publicity', far from it. This is our private life that we have decided to share with you these last 4 years, and for for that reason I feel the need to let you know, "he added.

 In addition, the interpreter requested respect and privacy at this time, clarifying that she will not give interviews about it.

For his part, Lorenzo Méndez has not published anything on his Instagram profile where he refers to this decision, however, this September 16 he shared a phrase in the Stories section that could refer to the separation of Chiquis.

In this way, the famous couple separates after four years together, and just over a year after reaching the altar.

A few months ago there had already been a separation between them, so Lorenzo left the house where he lived with Chiquis, however, there was a reconciliation that did not last long. 

About this, the singer spoke about it a few weeks ago, during an interview for a Mexican television program.

"Problems between couples, there are ups and downs, marital crisis ... everything was always mature," he explained.

Lorenzo confessed that it was he who asked Rivera to take time, as he was dealing with internal problems that prevented him from having a healthy relationship.
