(ANSA) - NEW YORK, 17 SEPTEMBER - The opening of public schools in New York has been postponed again.

Mayor Bill de Blasio has announced that classroom classes for middle and high schools will not start before October 1.

In recent weeks, a ten-day postponement was decided for the go-ahead for the classes, which should have opened on 21 September.
