The territorial collaboration agreement between Cassa Depositi e Prestiti and the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Perugia was signed today, thanks to which an information point was opened at the headquarters of the Foundation, as part of the "Spazio Cdp" project extended to various other Italian cities.

The agreement is part of the collaboration project between Acri (Association of Foundations and Savings Banks) and Cassa Depositi e Prestiti and aims to further strengthen the presence of Cdp in the area and the cooperation with the individual Foundations for the development of joint projects for the benefit of local communities.

In the "Cdp Space" of Perugia - as already happens in those of Cagliari, Sassari and Trento-Rovereto - it is possible to meet the representatives of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, who provide integrated support to both public and private subjects, making a system of different needs and increasing cohesion with the territory.

The project is part of the new approach of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti focused on the sustainable development of the territories - to support them even more both in the management of the difficulties related to Covid-19 and in the economic restart - through renewed support to all stakeholders and with a particular attention to small and medium-sized businesses.

In the coming months, Cdp announced, the offices in Florence, Rome, Milan, Ancona, Bari, Palermo and Brescia and other information points throughout the country will also be inaugurated.

"The agreements signed in Perugia testify and strengthen the bond of Cassa Depositi e Prestiti with the territory, made even more solid by the partnership with the banking foundations with which we share part of our institutional mission", said the CEO Fabrizio Palermo.

"In the emergency phase from Covid-19, the commitment of CDP - he added - was further strengthened with new extraordinary measures to facilitate the restart and support businesses, public administrations and the development of infrastructures. Today we are ready to launch new initiatives to support the local economy and the entrepreneurial fabric and we are pleased to do so in an important city like that of Perugia, confirming the commitment already made with the Municipality on the occasion of the signing of the 'City Plan' in April 2019 ".
