(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, SEPTEMBER 18 - Almost 2,000 new infections from Covid were registered today in the Netherlands. Prime Minister Mark Rutte announced this in a press conference after a council of ministers, according to the PNA news agency. Today is the fourth day in a row that the record for daily number of infections has been broken. The peak last week was about 1,300 positive cases per day.
In addition, 288 patients were hospitalized today, a record even since mid-June. In two weeks the number of hospitalizations has more than doubled. (HANDLE).
