Michael Lonsdale passed away this Monday, September 21 in Paris.
According to information from L'Obs magazine, which joined his wife, this icon of French cinema and theater died in his home in the capital at the age of 89.

Out of the spotlight and the stage, he never hid his deep faith.
In 2016, he confided to the Parisian not to feel any "anguish" in the face of death.
"I have a reason, that's life," he assured.
