(ANSA) - WASHINGTON, 22 SEPT - The world must not fall into the trap of the clash of civilizations and should say no to unilateralism and protectionism: Chinese president Xi Jinping said this at the UN general assembly, in a pre-recorded video, defining the WTO as the cornerstone of global trade. The world, he added, should face the challenges of globalization, of the wealth gap. Beijing "has no intention of fighting either a cold war or a hot war with any country", the Chinese president underlined. (HANDLE).
