It is the end of an anomaly that has plagued the national dailies (notably
Le Figaro
,
Le Monde
,
Liberation
or
Les Echos
but also the horse press) since May.
In full confinement, when the Presstalis messaging service responsible for their distribution was placed in recovery, the intermediate warehouses in the regions were liquidated, resulting in the sacking of several hundred employees in Lyon and Marseille in particular.
Consequence, in the two regions: the distribution of the national dailies was no longer assured.
If the situation in Lyon was quickly restored, this was not the case in Marseille, depriving some 400 points of sale of national titles for five months.
