Less than a week after Emily Ratajkowski's brave article was published in New York Magazine, a fashion production featuring nudity alongside a nude interview is published in V. magazine. Into the hands of a provocative nude production, when she is the one who controls the set, the narrative and the photographed character - and this is actually what she tried to achieve in the long article she published earlier.

In an interview added to the production, Ratajkowski talks about her swimwear brand, aspirations for the future and her married life with her husband, producer Sebastian Bir-McClard.

Whoever is sitting to interview her is the esteemed photographer Ines van Lemsverda, who usually shoots in pairs with her partner Winod Matdin.

Last week, after the column written by Emily was published, we suggested that if a woman had photographed her throughout her career, much of her negative experiences would have been spared.

Therefore, the person who is now sitting with her for a conversation is a female photographer, who also talks to her openly about her life, and even shares her own experiences.

Photographer Ines shared Emily and told her: "I'm very excited to meet new photographers, for me it's not just telling them 'go stand there' and that's it. The photographers need to be involved. Sometimes I wonder what it's like for models to get to work and do just what others want. "And what if it's not at all their taste or style? How do you deal with that?"

In doing so, she lifts Ratajkowski for her guidance, allowing her to continue the line of the column she wrote on the subject.

"That's a good question," Ratajkowski replies.

"In general, as a model you have no control. When I was young I just let things happen and struggled with it. I'm glad I'm not in this place anymore. I'm not a passive person. Today I'm 29 and I left that behind, and that's the great thing about having my own line ".

In the interview, the model tells how involved she is in everything related to her brand, from the vision through the planning to the photography - since she is the one who models for the brand.

It can be assumed that many of her negative experiences throughout her career with photographers led her to the decision to become independent, to start her own business - and to model mainly her brand, for which she is the one who makes decisions.

It's not just that she started her own business.

Later, Ratajkowski says that she will soon be publishing a book.

"My mother is a professor of English and a writer. I had my own career path, but in the last two years I feel I have grown up. I got married, my mother fell ill. It was a painful time but she also allowed me to write. I wrote 10 personal articles and bound a book. It is brave and stupid. To be a little stupid to be brave. "

The light-hearted interview culminates in the photographer noting that she is waiting to read her book.

The interview is relaxed, without overly poignant questions and mostly picks up on Ratajkowski and allows her to spread her teachings on the relationship between men and women and the power relations in the fashion industry.

Maybe this is how Ratajkowski chooses her projects from now on - only those that she sees, that are comfortable for her, and that are fun for her to take part in.

And why not actually?

Soon the book.
