For the US president there is no risk for young people and in his speech at the UN he attacks China: 'He has infected the world'. According to data from the CDC, Americans between 0 and 17 years old represent about 8.4 % of infections and so far 107 Americans between 0 and 18 have died from Covid-19. (HANDLE)

Donald Trump said that the coronavirus is not a threat to young people and that it "affects virtually no one"

, despite the fact that the US is reaching 200,000 victims.

"It affects the elderly, seniors with heart problems or other problems," he said at a rally in Ohio.

"In some states it is thousands of people but no one young, no one under 18, because they have a strong immune system", he continued.

"But it virtually affects no one, it's a terrific thing," he assured.

According to data from the CDC, Americans between 0 and 17 years represent about 8.4% of infections and so far 107 Americans between 0 and 18 have died from Covid-19.

The American president speaking at the UN assembly then harshly attacked China talking about 'China virus' and 'invisible enemy' and said: "

China has infected the world

, we must make China responsible for spreading this plague in the world".

Trump's thrust into China also affected the environment: "Those who attack America ignore the growing pollution caused by China. They just want to punish America, they won't allow it. They throw plastic into the oceans and emit more toxic mercury than any other country ".

Beijing replied immediately: "China strongly rejects the accusations without foundation".

Thus the Beijing ambassador to the UN intervened after the harsh attack of Donald Trump in his speech.

Donald Trump surprised the UN Assembly with a recorded speech at the White House that lasted far less than the 15 minutes reserved by each leader during the general debate.

His speech was almost completely focused on the attack on China.

"I am proud to have put America first," concluded the tycoon.
