2020-09-23T18:41:06.752Z

The share of positive tests continues to increase on Wednesday and now stands at 6.2%, against 6.1% on Tuesday.

While the Minister of Health Olivier Véran presented this Wednesday a series of new health restrictions to fight the epidemic, the number of Covid-19 contaminations continues to increase day after day.

Public Health France has identified 13,072 new positive cases in the last 24 hours, against 10,008 the day before.

This is not a record, however, since the threshold of 13,000 had already been exceeded this weekend.

The positivity rate (proportion of positive people compared to the total number of people tested) increases again, for the fifth day in a row.

It now stands at 6.2%.
