He has long had an entry in the Guinness Book of Records, most recently the Queen even knighted him.
The hundred-year-old Tom Moore, better known as "Captain Tom", is clearly not thinking about quitting yet.
After the publication of his autobiography, a movie about the senior's life is also planned.
The World War II veteran signed a contract with the production company Fred Films and Powder Keg Pictures ("Fisherman's Friends", "Finding Your Feet").
"We are honored to be able to tell this unique and inspiring story and look forward to our audience getting to know the man behind the headlines," wrote the authors and producers in a joint statement.
Moore had raised almost £ 33 million for the ailing British health care system NHS with a fundraiser during the corona pandemic.
The film aims to address Moore's military past
Among other things, the film is about how Moore's military past and experiences in World War II changed his view of life.
The relationship with his family should also play an important role.
Filming is planned for 2021.
Moore already has preferences for starring in the film about his life: "I don't know actors who are 100 years old, but Michael Caine or Anthony Hopkins would definitely do a wonderful job if they were ready to age," said Moore.
The role would then at least be cast appropriately: the 87-year-old Caine and the 82-year-old Hopkins were also knighted by the Queen in the past.
