(ANSA) - PRAGUE, SEPTEMBER 23 - The Czech Republic rejects any compulsory redistribution of migrants between EU member countries. This was stated by Interior Minister Jan Hamacek (Cssd, social democrats) reacting to the package of measures proposed by the European Commission.

Hamacek excluded the obligation to welcome migrants: "We are against it. We will not agree with any proposal containing the obligation to relocate", he said, recalling that Prague has taken this position for some time together with the others Visegrad (Slovakia, Poland, Hungary) and the Baltic countries.
