"A considerable change" Emmanuel Macron visited the Maison de la Petite Enfance de Longjumeau (Essonne) on Wednesday afternoon, in particular to promote the new paternity leave, which will be extended to 28 days, of which seven are compulsory.
A measure which according to the President of the Republic, will reduce "inequality" between dads.
The measure will be, according to Emmanuel Macron, "the guarantee that all fathers can take leave regardless of their professional situations".
The new paternity leave will come into force on July 1, 2021.
