Regarding the number of infected, Argentina is ranked 9 in the world, only 13 thousand infected from reaching South Africa and 40 thousand from Spain.

According to official information, fatality remains at 2.1% and mortality reaches 307 people per million inhabitants.

On the other hand, the incidence rate is 1,437 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

Regarding the tests carried out on Tuesday, the positivity index was 47.1% nationwide, 35.7% in the City of Buenos Aires and 44.9% in the province of Buenos Aires.

In the morning report, which is no longer daily and will now be held three times a week, the health authority warned of the

increase in the lethality

of the disease during the last 15 days in many jurisdictions outside the Metropolitan Area of Buenos Aires ( AMBA), which was the primary and sustained focus of the transmission.

In this sense, the Secretary of Access to Health,

Carla Vizzotti,

pointed out that "the

federalization of the pandemic

" can be observed in the incidence of cases and in the impact of accumulated mortality since the beginning of viral transmission and the difference with what happens in the last 15 days.

If one looks at "the cumulative incidence, that is, the cases per 100,000 inhabitants, the jurisdiction with the most impact is the City of Buenos Aires, followed by the AMBA and the metropolitan region of the province of Buenos Aires, and also Tierra del Fuego and Jujuy, which are above the average for the country. "

In contrast, in the last 14 days "there is an important difference in relation to the new cases that are being presented in various jurisdictions."

"

La Rioja and Jujuy have overtaken the City

in the last 14 days, other provinces that have a significant number of cases - taking the population into account - are Santa Cruz, Mendoza, Tierra del Fuego, Río Negro, Salta, AMBA, Región Metropolitana and Province of Buenos Aires are above the country's average, "he explained.

Meanwhile, a similar phenomenon occurs with mortality per million inhabitants: although the highest accumulated indicator is possessed by the City of Buenos Aires, the AMBA, Jujuy, Río Negro, Tierra del Fuego and La Rioja;

In the last 14 days, this indicator is headed by La Rioja, Jujuy, Río Negro, the City of Buenos Aires, Tierra del Fuego, Neuquén, AMBA, metropolitan region of the Province of Buenos Aires, Salta and Santa Cruz.

"We are working on analyzing not only what has been happening from the beginning, but also with the places with the greatest activity, where the greatest number of cases is concentrated, and the tension in the health system to continue responding and making specific decisions," said Vizzotti.
