Meanwhile, the government launched new rapid antigen tests for coronavirus, which will allow, through a swab, to have a result between 15 to 20 minutes in people who present symptoms compatible with Covid-19 or who have had close contact with a positive case .
The head of the Health portfolio, Ginés González García, presented it at a ceremony in Florencio Varela and explained "the price is much cheaper: 400 pesos per test and PCR has five times that value", but clarified that "it is not replaced the PCR ", but these tests will be added.
On the other hand, from the
Argentine Society of Intensive Care they
continue to show concern about the pandemic.
This time, the intensivist doctor
Arnaldo Dubin
, a member of SATI, expressed his feeling of "failure" when he saw part of the public exercising "dangerous behaviors" for the contagion.
"I feel that we have failed, the doctors, the officials, the journalists, who even doing the best effort,
we could not communicate the risks of this disease
that if something has taught us is that we can never neglect ourselves," he said in dialogue with the agency
Télam
.
He also remarked that "I am concerned about how in the city of Buenos Aires and in the suburbs there are many people taking dangerous behaviors by not keeping the recommended social distances."
