(ANSA) - ROME, SEPTEMBER 24 - The Senate elections and parliamentary immunity junta accepted the appeal by Claudio Lotito against the election of Vincenzo Carbone in Palazzo Madama.
The junta, explained President Maurizio Gasparri, has resolved to "propose to the Senate the annulment of the election of Carbone in the Campania region".
The word then passes to the Hall of Palazzo Madama.
According to Lotito, who had been a candidate without being elected, that seat belongs to him.
