(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, SEPTEMBER 25 - "The first covid-19 vaccines should be available in Belgium starting from the month of March".

Health Minister Maggie DeBlock said today according to what the local media write, starting with the Belgian news agency.

These vaccines will be "developed by the Sanofi company".

The first doses of vaccine will be sent by priority (1,500,000 out of 7,500,000 doses of the first vaccine scheduled for spring) in March and April will be the health personnel, followed by the most vulnerable (people over the age of 65, who may have diseases such as diabetes, obesity, hypertension and heart failure, and people aged between 45 and 65, if they also have this type of disease).

Other groups of people could be defined later with the development of vaccine studies, concludes the Belgian.
