The amount of dormant policies awakened by IVASS at foreign companies operating in Italy is 492 million euros, of which about 400 million have already been paid to the beneficiaries, thus avoiding the prescription.

This is what we read in the newsletter of the surveillance institute according to which "the epidemiological emergency has slowed down the search and contact of beneficiaries for which the full amount raised has not yet been paid.

There are over 23,000 life policies which, for various reasons, had not been paid to the beneficiaries and which were lying with the insurance companies ".

IVASS, continuing the investigation that has already led to the revival of policies held by Italian companies for a value of approximately 4 billion euros, collaborated in this case with the supervisory authorities of the companies' countries of origin in order to acquire data from foreign companies.
