The youth plan presented at the beginning of the summer by the government already seems to be bearing fruit.
At least, that's what the first signals sent by the executive suggest… Elisabeth Borne indeed indicated Thursday evening on CNews that 180,000 young people had been hired in August.
That is an increase of 9% compared to the same month of the year 2019.

Since the start of the crisis, this is the first time that the number of recruitments of young people has turned positive compared to last year.
This increase is explained, according to the Minister of Labor, in particular by the establishment at the end of July of a hiring bonus to encourage the employment of some 700,000 new entrants to the labor market.
A satisfaction as the executive has made young people its priority for this new school year.
