While the trial of the January 2015 attacks continues at the Paris Assize Court, a machete attack occurred this Friday morning, rue Nicolas-Appert, near the former premises of Charlie Hebdo, in the 11th arrondissement from the capital.

Two injured people, whose vital prognosis would no longer be involved, were transferred to the Salpêtrière hospital and to the Georges Pompidou European Hospital.

They are two collaborators of the magazine of France 2 “Cash Investigation”, working for the production company First Lines, indicated Elise Lucet and an employee of the company.

Two suspects were arrested, one of whom would be "the main perpetrator" according to Jean-François Ricard, the head of the national anti-terrorism prosecution (Pnat), in charge of the investigation.
