The apple firm has won for its Apple TV + platform the broadcasting rights to the next film by Anthony and Joe Russo, the duo behind four of Marvel's biggest hits, including
Avengers: Endgame
.
Scheduled to go live in early 2021, Cherry will also have a limited theatrical release.

A release in early 2021 could keep the film in the running for the next Oscars, which pushed back the deadline for film eligibility to February 28.
According to the specialized site Deadline, Apple would have put around 40 million dollars on the table to ensure the exclusivity of Cherry.

The giant has pledged to produce Martin Scorsese's next film,
Killers of the Flower Moon
, with a budget of around $ 200 million.
