Armenia-Azerbaijan: at least 39 military and civilian deaths

Fighting continues between Armenia and Azerbaijan where, according to an official note from the defense ministry of the breakaway province of Nagorono-Karabakh, supported by Armenia, at least 39 people have died so far.

    Of these, 32 are Armenian separatist soldiers, half killed yesterday and at least as many this morning.

Five Azerbaijani civilians and two Armenian civilians from Karabakh also died, bringing the official death toll to 39. Azerbaijan has not reported on its military losses.
