The Campania region was most affected by precipitation and wind yesterday. Here the fire brigade teams carried out more than 500 interventions related to the bad weather emergency. In Naples, over 175 interventions were carried out between the areas of Pozzuoli and the municipalities of the coast, with an enhancement of the rescue device by 38 units. 210 interventions were carried out in Caserta and Avellino, most of them for flooding and for the rescue of some motorists stuck in their cars by mud in Monteforte Irpino (AV). The province of Salerno is particularly affected, where landslides in the municipality of Castel San Giorgio are recorded due to the overflow of a canal and widespread flooding in the municipality of Sarno. In Nocera Inferiore, Agri, Cava de 'Tirreni and Salerno, Municipal Operational Centers were set up yesterday for the management of ongoing interventions.
