Who hasn't found a dead phone battery after a busy day?
Four students have launched Buzz Power, terminals containing self-service telephone batteries.
“You don't always have an external battery with you, you have to think about charging it, taking it in your bag and it is generally quite expensive,” explains Victor-Hadrien Labbé, 22, co-founder of Buzz Power.
The principle is simple: download the application, go to one of the 19 points in Paris with a terminal, scan the QR code to unlock a battery.
Once the phone is charged, just drop it in one of the terminals.
The 19 terminals currently available are located in bars and restaurants in the capital.
"It's very practical, we no longer need to manage customers' cell phones," explains Audrey, co-manager of Le Pré bar-restaurant, in the Saint-Germain-des-Prés district.
"By the end of October, there will be 100 terminals in Paris", adds Victor-Hadrien Labbé.
Renting a battery costs € 1 per hour, with a maximum of € 4 per day.
It is also possible to permanently keep the battery by being billed 24 €.
