Not only would there be the Sloane Avenue building, but the Vatican Secretariat of State would have invested another 100 million pounds in luxury apartments in London. The Financial Times writes it calling into question the role, in these investments, of Cardinal Angelo Becciu, Substitute at the time. It would be "a portfolio of top-notch apartments in and around Cadogan Square in Knightsbridge, one of London's most expensive residential addresses".
"The new documents, which would not constitute any offense - specifies the City newspaper -, shed further light on the financial activities of the Secretariat of State".
